Dr. Michael Goldstein has been practicing ophthalmology and raising his family here in Omaha for 25 years.
Dr. Goldstein grew up in the metro area before spending his early adult life in California. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego in La Jolla, California where he also completed graduate work. He returned to Nebraska to receive his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, and also did his ophthalmology residency there.
Dr. Goldstein is a member of the Metropolitan Omaha Medical Society, Nebraska Medical Association and Nebraska Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and his was the first class to require recertification every 10 years. He most recently completed that process in 2011.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Goldstein and his wife Dacia keep very busy with their combined 5 teenage/young adult children. Dr. Goldstein loves golfing, traveling, manning the barbecue, working crossword puzzles and rooting for the Huskers.
