This month, we’ve taken a look at some of the eye-catching sunglass trends that are sweeping the states.
The Trend: 90’s
It hit us like a ton of bricks to realize that The Nineties now qualify as vintage. Our grunge rebellion and wide-legged jeans are to Gen Z what flower power and The Beatles were to us. But it does soften the blow to realize that not only are the comfortable fashions we came of age with back in style, but we don’t even have to argue with our parents about overhauling our closets.

Be sure to try the glasses on in a sunny area to determine if gems or jewels create a glare or visual obstruction that make them unsafe for driving, and avoid glitter, which is prone to coming loose and can cause corneal abrasions.

We love them for their full coverage and UV protection, but you’ll love them for their modern look and versatility. You’ll find stars like Bella Hadid and The Kardashians sporting cycling style everywhere from hiking trails to the red carpet.

While they may not have the word “sustainable” written across the lenses, earth-friendly sunglasses make the wearer 60% hotter instantly, without having the same effect on the planet.
