Our kitchens have gotten brighter (and much more adventurous) this summer! Several of us have recently purchased shares in Fertile Ground Family Farm Co-op’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program to support eco-friendly local growers and be more mindful of responsible food consumption.
Each Thursday evening, a surprise selection of healthy produce is brought to the ilumin parking lot for all shareholders to pick up. Alongside the unique items like bok choy or green garlic, some delicious recipe options are delivered to us, too. Last night, swiss chard was the item of choice. Yum!
